These records, which are taken in-house, consist of plaster study models of the teeth, photos of the patient’s face and teeth, low dosage digital x-rays (these are different from what your general dentist has taken) and a computer aided diagnostic work-up.

We use state of the art computer aided diagnosis and treatment planning to assist in designing your new appearance! 3D Cone Beam Scans give full three dimensional views of any unerupted teeth and details of the internal and external jaw structures. These give much more detailed information and allow us to discover important details about your tooth positions that the old-style x-rays often miss!

Once these records are taken and processed, Dr. Jones will formulate an individualized custom treatment plan for the patient. These records are also necessary in tracking the progress of treatment as the teeth move during orthodontic care.
